EMCOR Services BALCO/J.C. Higgins Joins in Search Effort for Missing Children
Posters to be Displayed on Service Vehicles
BOSTON, MA – March, 2005 – EMCOR Services BALCO/J.C. Higgins is participating in the nationwide Project Home Again program, an effort designed to assist the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in its nationwide search for missing, kidnapped or runaway children. The program is sponsored by the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA), a national trade association, of which EMCOR Services BALCO/J.C. Higgins is an active member.
EMCOR Services BALCO/J.C. Higgins, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is New England's premier energy and indoor environmental systems company, providing a full array of heating/ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) design and construction, and is the largest provider of mobile services in the Northeast.
As part of the program, EMCOR Services BALCO/J.C. Higgins will be displaying posters of missing children from the local area on its service vehicles. Since the service vehicles are highly visible and continuously travel around the community, the hope is that many people will see the posters and the missing children will be recognized and found. Each poster includes a photo of the child at the time they were first reported missing, biographical information, and numbers to call if the child has been seen or if anyone has information.
“Poster programs have proven to be extremely successful in locating missing children,” commented Jeff Souza, President of EMCOR Services BALCO/J.C. Higgins. “As a parent and community leader, I can sincerely say that Project Home Again is a very important and valuable program that we are very proud to be a part of. This program builds awareness and urges everyone in the community to look at the posters on the vehicles and keep an eye out for our missing children.”
